E-biking

If you’re looking for something a bit different for a day out, then we’d recommend you try an e-bike tour. We went on great trip with David Myers, who offers a variety of e-bike tours around the border of Devon and Cornwall. His base is around a half hour drive from Appledore.

We’d never been e-biking before, but it’s a great way of getting up some of those steep Devonian/Cornish hills without getting exhausted, and admiring the scenery from a different perspective. We went on a two to three-hour trip up quiet lanes, visiting Morwenstow church and Hawker’s Hut on the South West Coastal Path.

Here is the link to David Myers’s website: https://www.davidmyers.co.uk/ , which includes contact details. David offers a range of trips, including trail running and guided walks, in addition to e-biking. He is an adventurer and has been on many awe-inspiring trips, for example running the whole South West Coastal Path, skiing in the arctic, and hiking the 4,400km Pacific Crest Trail.
